Bake Brownies
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 pan. Mix brownie ingredients per box instructions. Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely, then cut into 1-inch chunks.
Prepare Mousse and Pudding
- Beat peanut butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 8 oz Cool Whip. Set aside.
- Whisk pudding mixes with milk 2 minutes. Let thicken 5 minutes.
Assemble Trifle
- In trifle dish, layer 1/3 brownie chunks, 1/3 mousse, 1/3 pudding, 1/3 chocolate chips. Repeat layers twice.
- Top with remaining Cool Whip, chopped peanut butter cups, and shavings. Chill 4+ hours.
Notes
Chill overnight for best flavor. Stores 3 days in fridge. Variations: Use chocolate cake mix for base; white chocolate pudding for white chocolate desserts; dark cocoa for dark chocolate desserts. Per serving estimates.
