Prepare the Stuffed Sandwiches
- Spread 2 tablespoons of Nutella on 4 slices of bread. Top each with another slice to form sandwiches. Gently press edges to seal.
- Optional: Chill sandwiches for 10 minutes to firm up filling.
Make the Batter
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
Cook the French Toast
- Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Dip each sandwich in batter, soaking 20-30 seconds per side.
- Cook 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Add more butter as needed.
- Keep warm in a 200°F oven if making batches.
Serve
- Dust with powdered sugar, add toppings, and serve hot.
